Producers Bank opens its sixty-sixth (66th) branch in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija on 30 September 2011. The branch office is located at Brgy. San Juan North, Poblacion, Cabiao, Nueva Ecija.
Cabiao Branch is the thirteenth (13th) branch of Producers Bank in the province of Nueva Ecija. Currently the Bank has branches in Gapan, Sta. Rosa, Cabanatuan, Bongabon, Llanera, Rizal, Talavera, Guimba, Muñoz, San Jose, Lupao and Carranglan.
Mr. Edmundo C. Medrano, Vice Chairman and COO, is pleased to announce that Cabiao Branch is headed by its well-trained Area Marketing Head, Mr. Rolando B. Simbulan, Sr., who will be assisted by customer-oriented and service driven officers and staff, namely, Ms. Maria Eliza S. Cuartero as Cashier, Ms.Gretchen S. Reyes as Bookkeeper, Ms. Jurrenz S. Ocampo as Teller and Ms. Chemel Cyrob S. Miranda as NAC/Teller.
Cabiao is a first class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija. Based on the latest census, it has a population of 68,382 people in 11,655 households.
The municipality is located at the Southern part of Nueva Ecija and is just two hours away from the country’s capital, Metro Manila. Cabiao has a total land area of 111.83 sq. kms. and is politically subdivided into twenty-three (23) barangays.
The name Cabiao originated from the term “Kabyawan”. This was a stone device operated by means of a carabao and was used to crash sugar cane to get the juice which was later made into molasses or crude sugar. This device became familiar to the neighboring places and the place where it was located was identified as Kabyawan and later shortened to Kabyaw. The spelling has been later altered to Cabiao by the influence of the foreign alphabet.
Most of Cabiao’s agricultural land is used in cultivating palay. Also most of the jobs available in the municipality are related to agriculture. Major industries in Cabiao are farming and livestock growing.
With this profile in mind, Mr. Andres M. Cornejo, Chairman and CEO, said that Producers Bank finds it timely to open another branch in the fourth district of Nueva Ecija. At present the Bank only has one branch in the said district– Gapan Branch. Producers Bank wishes to further extend its reach to the progressive farmers and SMEs in the area.
The opening of Producers Bank – Cabiao Branch marks the sixth (6th) branch opening of the Bank for the year 2011. Earlier opened were Marilao and Hagonoy branches in Bulacan, Calamba City branch in Laguna, Lucena City branch in Quezon and Lipa City branch in Batangas.
