Producers Bank opened two (2) new branches during the first (1st) quarter of 2022, Guihulngan, Negros Oriental on January 10, 2022 and Isabela, Negros Occidental on January 26, 2022.
The openings were in accordance with the approval of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) of Producers Bank’s application for new bank licenses. By the first (1st) quarter of 2022, Producers Bank has a total of two hundred fifty three (253) operating branches nationwide.
Guihulngan Branch
Located at St. Thaddeus Bldg, Osmeña Ave., Guihulngan, Negros Oriental, Guihulngan Branch is headed by Ms. Charity Arriola – Regional Head, together with Mr. Aguinaldo H. Garsula – Branch Operations Officer, Ms. Ma. Einnor A. Laborete – Cashier, Ms. Diana D. Nicdao – New Accounts Clerk and Teller, Mr. Ariel D. Margallo – Account Assistant and FSME Loans Head, Ms. Sheila Mae C. Macalua – Account Assistant for Salary Loan.
The City of Guihulngan undergoes modern developments as a major port and northern gateway for the traffic coming from Cebu. The economy of the city is mostly centered around the agricultural sector with sugar cane, copra, corn, rice, soybeans, and tobacco as its main industries. Guihulngan also produces abaca, basketry and pandan.
Isabela Branch
