Producers Bank opens its 85th branch nation wide in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental on July 15, 2013. The branch is located at Tupas Bldg., Rizal Street, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental. Hinigaran will be the 9th branch of Producers Bank in Negros Occidental. The other branches in the Province are located in the cities of Bacolod, Bago, Cadiz, Escalante, Kabankalan, San Carlos, Silay and Victorias.
Mr. Edmundo C. Medrano, Vice Chairman, President and COO is pleased to announce that Hinigaran branch will be manned by competent officers and staff namely: Ms. Roselle B. Gerasmo as Assistant Manager, Mr. Arnaldo S. Madregalejo Jr. as Branch Operations Officer, Mr. Jeffrey O. Libo-On as Marketing Assistant, Ms. Rose Ann T. Resco as Accounting Assistant, Mr. Agapito S. Cuervo III as Credit Assistant, Mr. Marc D. Gelvoligaya as the Acting Cashier and Ms. Trecy Jane T. Alpa-on as Customer Service Associate.
Hinigaran is a first class municipality in the province of Negros Occidental, about 54 kms. (34 mi) south and about an-hour-and-fifteen minute drive from Bacolod City. According to 2010 census, it has a population of 81,925 people. Public and utility vehicles passing the southern Negros route through the municipality, dubbed Hinigaran as the ‘Gateway to Southern Negros”.
Sugar and rice production are the major source of living of the populace. Majority of the land is suited for agricultural production. Fishing is also another source of livelihood in the municipality.
