Producers Bank held its Annual Stockholders’ Meeting on May 31, 2022 at the PSBC Head Office located at AIC Burgundy Empire Tower, ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila.
Mr. Andrei D. Cornejo, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, presented the President’s Report for 2021.
Moreover, Ms. Gilda E. Pico, Chairman, congratulated the Board of Directors (BOD), stockholders, officers and staff and clients as Producers Bank registered steady growth in deposit, loans and net income for 2021.
“Despite the apprehension and the many unknowns that the COVID-19 pandemic sowed, Producers Bank operated with caution coupled with innovation and initiative. The management made strategic and calculated moves including the issuance of guidelines for the observance of health protocols in all operations aspects, adjustments of interest rates as necessary, introduction of new and upgraded loan products, among others.”, she said.
Producers Bank Board of Directors, which consists of the President and CEO, other senior executive officers, the Chairman and Vice Chairman, were among the few people who were present during the meeting.
The Annual Stockholders Meeting is a crucial forum for our Board of Directors and Management to communicate with our shareholders and investors about the important issues facing the Bank, to review Producers Bank’s financial data for the previous year, and to address any inquiries about the objectives and future course its operations.
The meeting also allowed shareholders to provide input and pass resolutions on significant issues affecting Producers Bank, such as profit allocation, review and implementation of acts and resolutions of the Board of Directors and Management adopted during the previous year.
The Annual Stockholders Meeting is held every May thirty first (31st).
