Producers Bank opens its 110th branch in Tinambac, Camarines Sur on May 15, 2014. The branch office is located at the Ground Floor, Tinambac Commercial Complex, Tinambac, Camarines Sur. It is open for business from Monday to Saturday except holidays from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.
Mr. Edmundo C. Medrano, Vice Chairman, President and COO of Producers Bank, is pleased to announce that Tinambac Branch will be headed by an experienced banker, Elmer Cayog – Area Head together with well-trained and energetic personnel, namely: Vanessa Pruelo – Branch Head, Rene Mark Oriel – Cashier, Rod Angelo Velarde – Marketing Assistant, Glennie Rose Ricafort – Acting Deputy Controller and Xandra Luna – Customer Service Associate.
Tinambac Branch is the twelfth (12th) branch of Producers Bank in the Bicol Region with the other branches located in Baao, Calabanga, Iriga, Goa, Naga – Centro, Naga-Magsaysay, Nabua in Camarines Sur, while in Polangui, Tabaco and Legazpi in Albay and in Sorsogon in Sorsogon.
Located in the province of Camarines Sur, the economic activity in Tinambac is mostly agriculture-based. Its main products include rice, corn, freshwater fish, livestock, coconut, sugar, abaca and water lily. Entrepreneurs engage in trading, often branching out towards neighboring provinces in the south. Handicrafts are the major source of rural income. It continuously provide fairly large share in the small-scale industries of the province. Forestry and papermaking are another source of livelihood. The manufacture of abacá products such as Manila hemp, hats, bags, mats and slippers is one of the main sources of income in the rural areas. Fishing is also done along both shores of the province. Tourism, primarily because of Caramoan, and Mt. Isarog, also draws income for Camarines Sur.
