Producers Bank opens its Umingan Branch on 29 January 2010 located at National Highway cor. Zamora St., Poblacion West, Umingan, Pangasinan. Umingan Branch is the tenth (10th) branch of Producers Bank in Pangasinan and the eleventh (11th) in the Ilocos Region.
Umingan Branch is the fifty-fifth (55th) branch of Producers Bank Luzon-wide. Ms. Amy A. A first (1st) class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Umingan was once a town belonging to the province of Nueva Ecija. It is a town with rolling hills and verdant plains, and is located at the foot of the Caraballo Mountains. Umingan has a total population of 62,497 people in the 13,640 households according to the 2007 Census.
Bounded by San Quintin in the North, Lupao, Nueva Ecija in the East, Talugtug and Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija in the South and in the West by Balungao, Umingan lies at the east-southernmost part of Pangasinan. The town has a total land area of 29,753 hectares and is politically subdivided into fifty-eight (58) barangays.
Investment potentials in the area are the comprehensive Upland Development Program in the Easter Pangasinan, Bamboo/Rattan Industry Development Program and the Development Program and the abundant supply of white clay and other minerals in the Caraballo Mountains.
The municipality of Umingan was founded in 1843. Its economy remains to be mostly agricultural with palay as its major product. Business establishments falling under the service industry are also present in the municipality such as banks, lending investors, pawnshops, schools, hospitals, and hotels and restaurants.
