Producers Bank opened its 83rd branch in Silay, Negros Occidental last March 18, 2013. The branch office is located at Door 2, APSSI Bldg., Rizal St., Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental. Producers Bank – Silay Branch is the 8th (eighth) branch of Producers Bank in Negros Occidental and is open from Mondays to Saturdays except Holidays from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.

Mr. Edmundo C. Medrano, Vice Chairman, President and COO is pleased to announce that Silay Branch is manned by well trained and customer service oriented personnel namely: Ms. Marie Jo Alera – Branch Head, together with Ms. Renalie Iligan – Cashier, Mr. Rafh Canizares – Marketing Asst. and Ms. Fabrienne Elize Muyco – Customer Service Associate.

Hon. Jose Montelibano – Mayor of Silay City headed the ribbon cutting ceremony during the Blessing and Inauguration of Producers Bank – Silay Branch.

Silay Silay City is a third (3rd) class city in the province of Negros Occidental with sixteen (16) barangays. It is a part of a metropolitan area called Metro Bacolod which includes the cities of Bacolod and Talisay. It has a sizable commercial and fishing port and is the site of the new Bacolod-Silay International Airport, which replaced the Bacolod City Domestic Airport.

Silay is often referred to as the “Paris” of Negros due to its artists, cultural shows and large collection of perfectly preserved heritage houses. Silay is the second (2nd) Philippine city to have been declared as a museum city, next to Vigan in Ilocos Sur.

Mr. Andres M. Cornejo, Chairman and CEO of Producers Bank said that he has high hopes in opening a branch in Silay because of its budding local economy and strong potential for tourism.
